Year 10 science students from Leongatha Secondary College recently visited Watersure as part of their studies on osmosis. They participated in a program called “Water Fit For Drinking” and were able to see the process that is undertaken to transform salt water into drinking water. Students tested PH and chlorine levels as these activities are carried out on site regularly to ensure that the “water is fit for drinking”. The activities gave students a greater understanding on how and why these levels are so important. Students also had staff from Watersure teaching them about the filtration process and what jobs they undertake at the plant.
